The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced this evening that during the day there was a series of Israeli airstrikes in the east of Syria where weapons are stored, adding that the pace of attacks has accelerated after the fall of President Bashar al-Assad's government.
"Israel carried out airstrikes against weapons depots and positions belonging to the ousted regime and Iran-backed groups in Deir Ezzor province," the non-governmental organization said.
It is added that the attacks have intensified since Assad fled Syria, and the rebels captured Damascus after a quick offensive.
