A plane crashed in South Sudan, killing at least 18 people.
A local official said there were 21 people on board the plane, including two pilots, and that the plane was leased by Chinese oil company Greater Pioneer Operating.
The plane crashed during takeoff near an oil field, and was heading to the international airport in Juba, the capital of South Sudan.
The cause of the accident is unknown and the victims are not yet known.
South Sudan, which gained independence from Sudan in 2011, is the region's main oil producer.
