The Russian and US delegations held "technical consultations" in Riyadh and sent reports to their leaders, and the results of the talks will not be made public, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Ultimately, these are technical talks. Technical - meaning that details are being discussed, so, of course, the content of those talks will not be made public. That should not be expected," he said at a press briefing.
He added that Moscow and Washington are now analyzing the delegations' reports, and that only then will it be possible to talk about any kind of agreement, TASS reports.
The participants did not comment on the outcome of the meeting.
Russian agencies previously reported that Russia and the United States would issue a joint statement today on more than 12 hours of talks on the war in Ukraine, held yesterday in Saudi Arabia.
The Russian delegation was led by the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Grigory Karasin and the Advisor to the Director of the Federal Security Service Sergey Beseda.
The American delegation included Andrew Pick, Senior Director for Europe at the National Security Council, Michael Anton, a senior State Department official, as well as members of the cabinet of Keith Kellogg, Special Envoy for Ukraine, and National Security Advisor Mike Voltz.
