Thousands of people took to the streets of Tehran today for the annual demonstration of support for the Palestinian people.
The protesters waved Iranian and Palestinian flags, as well as flags of the Lebanese Islamist movement Hezbollah.
Many participants held up signs reading "Death to America," "Death to Israel" and chanted anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans, Agence France-Presse reported.
Similar rallies were held across the country, according to images broadcast by state television.
The rallies were organized at the end of Ramadan in solidarity with the Palestinians and against Israel.
