At least 47 people were killed in two attacks on Sunday evening in central Nigeria, a country rocked by conflict, Red Cross and local officials said today.
"I can confirm that 47 people have died, 22 have been injured and taken to hospital, and five houses have been burned," a Red Cross official, who asked not to be named, told AFP.
Local authorities confirmed the number of victims and added that the attacks took place last night around 20.00:XNUMX PM and that there were many injured.
