In a televised address, Khalil El-Haja, head of Hamas's negotiating team for indirect talks with Israel, said Hamas was ready to immediately negotiate an agreement that would exchange all hostages for an agreed number of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, as part of a comprehensive deal to end the war in Gaza.
Khalil El-Haya stressed that Hamas rejects the proposal for a temporary ceasefire, insisting that the goal is a final end to the war, not a short-term truce, Reuters reports.
