Tesla CEO and close advisor to US President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, said that starting in May he will devote much less time to leading the Commission on Government Efficiency (DOGE), which Trump established to reduce federal spending.
He added that starting in May, he will devote much more time to Tesla.
Musk also said that the key work of the DOGE commission is largely complete.
Tesla reported worse-than-expected first-quarter results yesterday.
The poorer results were significantly influenced by Musk's cooperation with the Trump administration, Hina reports.
