North Korea fired a barrage of unidentified cruise missiles into the sea today, the South Korean military said.
The missiles were spotted near North Korea's eastern province of South Hamgyong and "were fired towards the Sea of Japan," the statement said.
North Korea also fired short-range ballistic missiles towards the Sea of Japan on May 8th.
According to some experts, it is possible that this is a test of weapons intended for Russia.
