The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced that 52 people were killed today in Israeli attacks across the Palestinian territory.
Several dozen were wounded during airstrikes that "the occupier carried out in various parts of the Gaza Strip since the early morning hours," Mohammed al-Mugayir, a civil defense official in the Palestinian territory, told AFP.
The Israeli military today issued an evacuation notice for residents of 14 areas in the northern Gaza Strip, despite growing international criticism of its intensified offensive in Gaza.
