The White House has said that Donald Trump will make a decision on whether to attack Iran within two weeks, reports The Guardian.
The White House added that "correspondence with Iran has continued."
Iran fired at least ten missiles at Israel in its latest salvo of attacks, the Times of Israel reported, citing military assessments.

Donald Trump has denied a Wall Street Journal report that he approved US plans to attack Iran, saying the media outlet "has no idea" what he thinks about the conflict between Israel and Iran.
The Wall Street Journal reported late Wednesday that Trump had told his closest aides the day before that he had approved plans for the strike but was holding off on the final order to see if Tehran would give up its nuclear program. The report cited three anonymous officials, the Guardian reported.
Trump responded to the report today with a post on the Truth Social platform.
"The Wall Street Journal has no idea what I think about Iran," the US president wrote.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that regime change or collapse in Iran is not the goal, but could be a result of the current conflict, the Guardian reports.
"The issue of regime change or the fall of this regime is primarily a matter for the Iranian people. There is no substitute for that. And that is why I did not present it as a goal. That may be an outcome, but it is not our declared or official goal," Netanyahu told Israeli public broadcaster Kan, Reuters reported.
US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi have spoken by phone several times since Israel launched strikes on Iran last week, in an attempt to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis, three diplomats told Reuters.
According to diplomats, who wished to remain anonymous due to the sensitivity of the topic, Araqchi said that Tehran would not return to negotiations unless Israel halted the attacks, which began on June 13th.
Diplomats added that the talks also included a brief discussion of a US proposal sent to Iran in late May, which envisages the creation of a regional consortium for uranium enrichment outside of Iran - a proposal that Tehran has so far rejected, the Guardian reports.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz spoke by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which Merz called for moderation in Israel's campaign against Iran, a German government source told Reuters.
During the talks on Wednesday evening, Merck expressed Germany's support in principle for Israeli military attacks on Iranian nuclear infrastructure, but stressed the importance of seeking diplomatic solutions, the same source said.
Germany plans to host nuclear talks with European partners and Iran's foreign minister at its permanent mission in Geneva on Friday, a source told Reuters on Wednesday, aiming to gain assurances from Iran that its nuclear program is used exclusively for civilian purposes.
The Israeli military said Iran used a missile with multiple warheads in its attack, posing a new challenge to its air defenses, the Associated Press (AP) reports.
Instead of tracking just a single warhead, missiles with multiple warheads pose a more difficult challenge for air defense systems, such as Israel's Iron Dome, the Guardian reports.
An Israeli military official said it was "a mistake" for a military spokesman to say earlier in the day that Israel had carried out an attack on the Bushehr nuclear facility in Iran.
The official only confirmed that the nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan and Arak were hit, Reuters reports.
When asked further about Bushehr, the official said he could neither confirm nor deny that the facility, which houses an Iranian reactor, was the target of an Israeli attack.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has called on Israel to immediately halt airstrikes on the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran, where Russian experts work.
According to Reuters, Bushehr is the only operational nuclear power plant in Iran and uses Russian nuclear fuel, which is returned to Russia after use, in order to reduce the risk of nuclear proliferation.
Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reiterated Russia's warning to the United States not to get militarily involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran, stating that doing so would have unpredictable and negative consequences.
"Maybe I'll do it, maybe I won't. I mean, nobody knows what I'm going to do."
Donald Trump said this yesterday on the White House lawn, when asked if the United States was getting closer to attacking nuclear facilities in Iran.
Reports have since emerged that Trump has approved plans for a US strike but is currently holding them back to see if Iran will agree to give up its nuclear program.
Iran's mission to the UN has questioned such a possibility, stating that it "does not negotiate under pressure."
Trump's former national security adviser, KT McFarland, said the US president would wait until the last minute to make a decision.
However, as there is no externally imposed deadline, it is unclear what that "last minute" could actually mean, according to the BBC.
Soroka Hospital in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba was hit in an Iranian missile attack.
A spokesperson for the medical facility confirmed that there were people injured in the attack.
An Israeli military official said that three more targets in civilian areas were hit in the latest Iranian rocket fire.
According to the same military source, dozens of rockets were fired in the attack, which caused sirens to sound across most of Israel.
Explosions were also reported in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the BBC reports.
An area near the heavy water research reactor in Khondab, which is part of Iran's nuclear program, was hit by an Israeli attack, the Iranian Student News Agency – ISNA reported.
Officials said the facility was evacuated before the attack and there was no risk of radiation, ISNA added.
The research reactor is partially built and was previously known as Arak, and Tehran has informed the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency that it plans to start operating it next year, Reuters reports.
Heavy water helps cool nuclear reactors, but it produces plutonium as a byproduct that can potentially be used in making nuclear weapons.
US President Donald Trump told senior aides late Tuesday that he had approved plans to attack Iran but was withholding the final order to see if Tehran would give up its nuclear program, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing three sources familiar with the discussions.
