US President Donald Trump said he had signed letters to US trading partners regarding Washington's "punitive" tariffs, "probably 12" of which will be sent on Monday.
"I signed the letters and they will be sent on Monday, probably 12 of them," Trump told reporters on Air Force One last night.
Trump had previously set a July 9 deadline for Washington and its trading partners to reach an agreement.
Otherwise, they will face increased tariffs on their exports to the United States.
