A man shot and killed two men today at the Allenby border crossing between the occupied West Bank and Jordan, where he arrived in a truck from that country with humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and first aid services said.
According to media reports, the attacker also stabbed some people.
Security forces "neutralized" the attacker, the military said.
"It happened outside our border," added a Jordanian security spokesman.
In September 2024, at the same crossing, a Jordanian driver shot at Israeli guards, killing three.
This crossing in the Jordan River Valley is the only place Palestinians from the West Bank can go without passing through Israel, which has occupied the West Bank since 1967.
