Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied accepting the principle of a Palestinian state today after US President Donald Trump presented his peace plan for the Gaza Strip.
"Not at all, and it's not written in the agreement," Netanyahu said in a video posted on his Telegram account, answering the question of whether he had "accepted a Palestinian state."
"One thing was made clear (in the conversation with Trump): we will firmly oppose a Palestinian state," Netanyahu added.
The plan for Gaza presented by Trump envisions that, in the end, "the conditions could finally be met to open a credible path towards self-determination and the establishment of a Palestinian state."
