Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that the war between Israel and Hamas will end when the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which includes the disarmament of Hamas, is completed.
Netanyahu said on Israeli Channel 14 television that the second phase includes the "disarmament of Hamas," or the "demilitarization of the Gaza Strip," which would be preceded by the seizure of weapons.
"When this is successfully completed, I hope in an easy way, but if not, then in a hard way, then the war will end," Netanyahu added.
