The United Nations (UN) expressed "concern" tonight after the outbreak of bloody violence in the Gaza Strip and called on "all parties to fully respect their obligations."
The statement was issued by the spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the world organization, Stephane Dujarric.
According to the Gaza Civil Defense, at least 45 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli attacks on the Palestinian enclave, where a war between the Palestinian Hamas movement and Israel has raged for more than three years.
The latest violence has put to the test the fragile ceasefire that came into effect on October 10th.
