US Vice President James David Vance said today during a visit to Jerusalem that disarming Hamas and rebuilding the Gaza Strip will be "very difficult tasks".
"We have a very, very difficult task ahead of us, to disarm Hamas and rebuild Gaza, to make life better for the people of Gaza, but also to ensure that Hamas is no longer a threat to our friends in Israel," Vance said after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Many points of US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan are still unfulfilled, including the disarmament of Hamas.
