Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened today to step up attacks on Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, and the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that four people were killed in an Israeli airstrike yesterday.
"The Lebanese government's obligation to disarm Hezbollah and expel it from southern Lebanon must be fully respected," the Israeli minister said in a statement.
He added that the pro-Iranian group is "playing with fire" and that "the Lebanese president is stalling."
"Strict enforcement of the measures will continue and will be intensified. We will not tolerate any threats to the residents of northern Israel," said Israel's defense minister.
