Democrats on the Congressional Oversight Committee released more than a dozen new photos on Friday from the possession of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including photos of current President Donald Trump, Reuters reports.
Trump appears in three of the 19 photos shared by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, who said they were reviewing more than 95.000 images provided by Epstein's estate.
One black-and-white photo shows Trump smiling with several women, their faces blacked out, on either side of him. Another photo shows Trump standing next to Epstein, and a third, less clear image shows him sitting next to another woman, whose face is also blacked out, with his red tie loosened. It was not clear when or where the photos were taken.
Former President Bill Clinton, former Trump aide Steve Bannon, Bill Gates and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers also appear in the photo series, as well as sex toys and a $4,50 condom with Trump's face and the words "I'M HUUUGE!", Reuters reports.
A spokesman for the committee, chaired by Republican James Comer of Kentucky, said Democrats were politicizing the investigation by "selecting photos and making targeted redactions to create a false narrative about President Trump."
Democrats said the tens of thousands of photos include "images of rich and powerful men who spent time with Jeffrey Epstein" and "photos of women and Epstein's properties," and that more material would be released in the coming days.
"These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful people in the world," Representative Robert Garcia of California, the top Democrat on the oversight committee, said in a statement.
"We will not give up until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all files immediately."
Congressional Democrats said they blacked out the women's faces to protect the identities of Epstein's victims.
The committee continues to collect and release documents, while the US Department of Justice is expected to release unredacted Epstein files from its federal investigation next week.
Trump signed a broadly bipartisan bill last month, led by Democratic Rep. Ro Kahn of California and Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, that requires the Justice Department to release Epstein's files within 30 days. The period ends on Dec. 19.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment, Reuters reports.
Trump and Epstein were friends during the 1990s and early 2000s, but Trump says he ended their relationship before Epstein pleaded guilty to prostitution charges.
Trump has consistently denied knowing about the abuse and trafficking of minors committed by the late financier.
