The United States (US) has invited six more countries to join the new "Peace Committee", founded by US President Donald Trump, and the idea of the organization is to monitor the current situation in Gaza.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has accepted an invitation to join the committee, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said today.
Orban is one of Trump's most ardent supporters in Europe.
India has received the invitation, said a senior government official familiar with the situation, speaking on condition of anonymity because authorities have not released the information.
Jordan, Greece, Cyprus and Pakistan also announced today that they had received invitations.
Canada, Turkey, Egypt, Paraguay, Argentina and Albania have already announced that they have been invited.
It is not clear how many total invitees are there, but the US is expected to announce its official list of members in the coming days, likely during the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
