US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, is reportedly on the list of people under investigation for ties to Russia.
As reported by the world media, the husband of Trump's daughter and a "person of great trust" is among the persons that the investigators would like to hear.
New York magazine also stated that the "person of interest" is the 36-year-old Kushner, who is currently with his father-in-law in Saudi Arabia, on his first trip abroad as US president.
The Washington Post added that a person close to the president is under investigation, the identity has not been released, but it is clear that there are very few such people.
"It's Jared Kushner. I have confirmation from four sources. I'm not speculating," New York magazine contributor Jashar Ali wrote.
There are no comments from the White House or from the Trump Organization, however, Washington previously confirmed that Kushner was in contact with Russian officials, as well as Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
The investigation into the ties between Moscow and Trump's campaign team for the presidential election entered the second phase after the dismissal of FBI chief James Comey, as former FBI director Robert Mueller was appointed as the head of the investigation.
