Pakistan has repatriated 11 of its nationals and 20 Iranian nationals from ships that were intercepted by the United States on the high seas, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said today.

The passengers were repatriated via Singapore to Bangkok en route to Islamabad, Dar added in a post on X, and the Iranians are expected to continue their journey to Tehran, Reuters reports.

"All individuals are in good health and in excellent spirits," Dar said.

It is not known which ships the passengers were on.

Although the US-Israeli war against Iran was suspended by a fragile ceasefire in April, Washington and Tehran have begun seizing each other's ships until the two countries reach a peace agreement, mediated by Pakistan.
