Iranian media: Tehran has not approved any text of the agreement with the US

Iranian media reported tonight that Tehran has not approved any text of the "initial memorandum of understanding with the United States of America (US)".

Fars News Agency was the first to report the news on social media, citing elections close to Iran's negotiating team.

The Tasnim news agency reported the same information, stating that "until the Islamic Republic announces a possible agreement, any information from US President Donald Trump on this issue should be considered in light of his previous messages."

Trump wrote on his social media earlier today that he had canceled planned attacks on Iran tonight because the agreement was in the process of being finalized.

The Iran war began on February 28 with joint US-Israeli air strikes. A fragile ceasefire is in place with the aim of finding a peace deal.
