US President Donald Trump said today that it would be unfair for Iran not to have ballistic missiles if other countries have them, Reuters reported.
"I'm saying that if other countries have them, it would be a little unfair if they didn't have them. If Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others have them, I would say that, to an appropriate extent, that's fine," Trump told reporters in Paris.
Trump also said the United States would keep its military forces in the Persian Gulf "for some time" after Washington reached an agreement with Tehran to end the nearly four-month conflict in the region.
