The death toll from the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24 has risen to 4.118, Venezuela's Ministry of Information announced on social media today.
The previous death toll was 3.889. The number of injured remained the same - 16.740.
According to earlier data, more than 17.000 people are homeless and 856 buildings have been damaged.
The earthquakes that hit Venezuela were magnitudes 7,2 and 7,5.
