Iran's military warned today that Iran would destroy infrastructure in the Middle East if it was attacked, responding to threats from US President Donald Trump to target bridges and power plants.
"All infrastructure in the region will be destroyed with steel force by the strong armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to the point that no trace will remain, as if it never existed," the Iranian Joint Command said on social media.
Trump recently told American television station Fox News that he would soon attack power plants and bridges in Iran if the Iranians "don't sit down at the negotiating table."
The United States (US) and Iran have continued attacks and declared invalid a memorandum signed in June, aimed at reaching a final peace agreement.
