The US military carried out new attacks on Iran last night.
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said on the X network that American forces "hit surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage facilities and naval capabilities."
It was the seventh night of new waves of attacks on Iran, in which, according to Iranian officials, dozens of people were killed and hundreds were wounded.
The Iranian military claimed that two oil tankers exploded and caught fire while trying to pass through a mined route in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military did not provide further details, but the US denied the report.
"This is false," the US Central Command said on social media. The BBC reported that the Jordanian military said it had intercepted 10 Iranian missiles fired into Jordanian airspace overnight.
