Iran attacks Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain

Iran announced today that it had carried out multiple attacks on US military targets in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, saying the targets were radar systems, military bases, fighter jets and other facilities used by US forces.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims it destroyed a missile defense radar system and an F-15 fighter jet in a hangar in a missile attack on a US base in Jordan. According to the IRGC, the aim of the operation was to weaken radar coverage in the region and prevent further missile and drone attacks.

At the same time, Jordan announced that its air defenses had intercepted and neutralized five Iranian drones that entered the country's airspace.

The Iranian military also said it had targeted the US military base at Sheikh Issa in Bahrain with drones, which it says is a key base for the US Fifth Fleet and the centre of US operations in the region. It added that the offensive operations would continue until the US halts attacks on Iran.

Additionally, the IRGC announced that it had struck Amazon's central data processing infrastructure in Bahrain with cruise missiles, stating that the attack was a response to recent US strikes on civilian infrastructure in Darhovina.

Iran also announced that it had "kamikaze drones" targeting three US military facilities in Kuwait - Camp Arifjan, Camp Al-Adiri and Ahmed Al-Jaber Base.

According to the Iranian military, administrative buildings, radar antennas, a helicopter parking area and military accommodation were hit. Shortly before that, the IRGC announced that it had also attacked American positions at the Ahmed Al-Jaber and Ali Al-Salem air bases, Al Jazeera reports.
