At least 20 people were killed in a double suicide attack during a wedding in a village north of Baghdad, the Ministry of Defense said.
Two bombers came on Wednesday evening to a village wedding near the city of Tikrit, about 130 kilometers from the Iraqi capital, and set off explosives.
Thirteen people were wounded in the attack, the Ministry announced.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Islamic State is suspected, which has carried out similar attacks in the past.
