Ecuadorian citizens on Twitter are massively opposed to the possible decision of the next president of Ecuador to expel WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he has been since he was granted asylum in fear of political persecution, according to the "teleSUR" website.
The organizer of the campaign in support of Assange, with the hashtag "The world stands with Assange", Felipe Ogaz Oviedo said that in the end it was a wonderful thing, because it showed a lot of solidarity and added that the networks in South America and the US united to get the event on importance.
As a result, tens of thousands of Twitter users from 20 countries participated in the campaign.
