This iconic sentence from the movie "Professional" transferred to us in Montenegro and to our father of the nation has the same meaning: "It's not Milo's fault, we're to blame, we're naked Mr....". Except that Milo hasn't released the water yet. Sloba is Milo's political father, and we are the stepchildren of their systems. Sloba and Milo have long since outgrown their personalities and are no longer ad personam, they are the personification of their socio-political legacies.
What still needs to happen and what still needs to be done to us, so that we, as we are, raise our heads above the feces in which we swim? As we are, scared and used to crises and crumbs from the capitalist table, we masochistically indulge ourselves in the petty privileges of their society. Really, do we know what moral values are valid in our society? Will my children and the children I raise in school be successful citizens of this country only if they are companions and followers of successful businessmen? Otherwise, the workforce of tycoons close to the authorities will be disenfranchised.
I don't accept the politics of the "slipped ladder" (as defined by Noam Chomsky in the book "Dreams and Hopes"). The introduction of laws and rules by the ruling class, which seized that right by looting social property, corruption and nepotism. In all segments. Put simply – a thief catches a thief. The ladders of social advancement have escaped us and they prescribe our legally desirable behavior. They are called socialists, and they advocate neoliberalism. By replacing theses, they impose fear on us who have no guilt. Except that the way we are, we remain silent and suffer. And it's good that they let us suffer. While they put up with us. Ours is just to bother them as little as possible. Their concern for nations, languages, churches and states. Those are bones just for us. They worship the golden calf.
The question of all questions is - where is the threshold of tolerance of this nation? Where does the soul reside in each of us who have been acting like serfs on someone else's property all these years? Satisfied with their miserable wages, afraid of losing what little we have.
