The size and comprehensiveness of the Hellenic mythological system is unparalleled. The proof is also the fact that even in modern times, when some important, subtle, new, decisive phenomena need to be defined, it is most natural to reach into the unsurpassed narrative-philosophical system of the Hellenic genius. So we discovered the Oedipus complex (two and a half millennia after those who told the story of Oedipus), the phenomenon of narcissism, hubris, the Electra complex, the Odyssean motif, Sisyphus brought to life by Camus... And you can go on and on. To - Pandora's box. If it is not clear to anyone: the ancient Greeks are the text of this civilization, everything else is just - footnotes. Until today.
The current mythological heroine is - Pandora.
We have to thank for that a huge international journalistic action - investigation of papers that reveal parts of the gigantic planetary network of offshore companies used by various world powers, but not only them. It happened before, but it is quite understandable that all this is always a media attraction.
Not to complicate things too much - regardless of the findings of this or that prosecution - the presence of the Montenegrin president in such a rich charade is something deeply compromising.
Surely he knows what he's talking about when he says it's nothing illegal, but the real question is whether it's moral. Because something is not illegal does not mean that it is fair. Therefore, instead of explaining the obvious things, Đukanović should explain to the public in more detail what he is going to do in all this.
It is obvious that people who engage in these business acrobatics do so for two main reasons: to hide the business and to avoid paying taxes. We can hardly consider these two impulses fair.
When Đukanović says that he "prepared the infrastructure for doing business", I believe him. It sure is. Here, we see how. Which means that his "preparation of infrastructure" was the creation of conditions to deceive the public and his own country. And that should surprise many, because Đukanović publicly generated the fetish of the state, which is actually just a hoax. Because if that country was really important to him, he would pay taxes to it instead of carrying out intercontinental confusion with papers and concealment.
A big game of hide and seek, in the style of the world's "elite". Tony Blair performing all these miracles to avoid tax on the purchased building, Siniša Mali and the Bulgarian apartments, the Czech Prime Minister and many, many more. All politicians who pass themselves off as decent citizens and moral stalwarts. In fact, everything is a scam. The ridiculous perversions of politicians: he defends the country, but he destroys it here. They can. Morality of hyenas.
Is it "preparing the infrastructure for business"? Isn't it preparing the infrastructure for business if you build a factory, for example? What is the deception “infrastructure” for? For planting violets? "Friend Milo violet white / what Pandora has entangled you in."
From this business-political quagmire, let's return to Pandora, whose name was chosen. Her name is a coin of pan (all) and doron (dar), which means "endowed with everything". (Politicians believe the same for themselves.) She was the wife of the titan Epimetheus, brother of Prometheus. To punish Prometheus for giving fire to humans, Hephaestus created it on Zeus' instructions.
We owe her the term "Pandora's box", because, according to myth, Zeus gave her a box (chest) that she was not allowed to open. Her curiosity made her open the box anyway, and all possible evil came out into the world, among people. Frightened, she closed the box, so the deceptive hope that was at the bottom remained closed...And we were left with an expression for the source of the worst troubles.
In fact, Pandora was conceived as - the weapon of the gods.
In the end, it is not the most important thing to know who opens and closes this Pandora's box. Just don't make her mistake, don't close the box, let everything come out...
And Đukanović doesn't have to worry. Because, Comrade Milo. Violet blue/Montenegro sleeps with a dead sleep...
