Whenever I hear the word "people", I know I'm dealing with either an ignoramus or a manipulator. And it's usually both.
When the word "people" is devalued, it is inevitably followed by another popular word - "treason". Because there is no "betrayal" so that the "people" would understand who wants to play tricks on them... And who wants to protect them. It's interesting, as someone noticed, those patriots, despite the rhetorical ups and downs about "the people", essentially have a low opinion of "the people". They see that deified entity as an immature and unwise being - because someone always has to watch and supervise it. So that the "people" do not go astray, and they were born to lead them.
It is clear that "the people" in the way that word is used in our country, simply does not exist. Because "the people" is - everyone and no one. And actually - a bare demagogic construct. Ever since the citizens of Montenegro became the "people of Montenegro" (but by no means the Montenegrin people), or, even worse, the "faithful people", things began to look dangerously like right-wing kitsch of the worst kind.
In all of this, the SPC plays a huge role, and the basic test of this (civil?) society is whether it can remove the ecclesiastical yoke that is intended for it. Thus, a character arrives at the University who is not even allowed in a TV show without the permission of the Church, and we should believe that he comes there as an individual, not a church regent. Or, look at the announcement for the program at the Montenegrin Cinematheque: the film "The Quiet Corner of Christ" is being released, produced by Manastir Ostrog. Now I guess it is clear why the previous director was dismissed. He thought that the cinema library should deal with film art.
Another trouble with "the people": such an approach implied a whole caste of interpreters of the will of the people. These are those who believe they know what "the whole nation is from the head". In the end, the idealization of the multitude always leads to a monstrous image: the dream of every patriot is a people with - only one head. Then, they believe, everything is clear to everyone... One head - one leader, one church. And so on.
These days "the people" are constantly in the game. Maybe he's getting sick from so much vain spinning.
And the expert government?
Isn't it unusual that the expert government refers to the "voice of the people". If the voice of the people was believed, they wouldn't even be there. Where does this cry for "the people" come from now? Or is that ("the people") the last refuge, you already know for whom... Corruption of the "wonderful people".
There is also talk of political corruption. As soon as you don't like the distribution of forces... That's politics, whether you like it or not.
The examples of political corruption that are fondly invoked have nothing to do with the current situation. The experts seem to have mixed up the pots. Maybe they'll do better when they form a party. At least they won't have to act - experts.
To illustrate the confused consciousness brought by the current days, the TV performance of a member of parliament can serve you well. He has the eloquence of those characters who were usually played by a great episodic actor in SFRY films Zvonko Lepetić ("CIA, sister-in-law, CIA"). MK is the image and occasion of the discursive circus that we call - Montenegrin politics. His behavior on the show Petar Komnenić it showed a simple thing: it is not a being of dialogue. He can be a politician only in an incomplete society. That kind of dilettantism is not only pathetic or ridiculous but also very dangerous. A tragically unintellectual concept of politics: a monologue instead of any communication. And what's worse - you can see that it all seems quite natural to him. MK, a small-scale politician.
Kito in the book "The Greeks" he mentions that in the Spartan assembly the loudest won, so the rant replaced every meaningful statement. Perhaps such an experience of politics is the right framework to offer us Bečić as the self-proclaimed "Leader of the People". He publicly hinted - his primacy in the fight for "the people", but he quickly attached the outgoing prime minister to himself. As far as I understand, these two will preserve "freedom" and "the people".
"Freedom" and "the people"... As a character from an old, great cartoon would say: They write the word armchair very strangely...
