New recipe: spiritualism (at a high level) plus political marketing (at the lowest). That formula would destroy any society, let alone a weak Montenegrin attempt. Eternally in infancy, a company of a hundred midwives...
It is unusual that a man who appeared with the ambition of changing a political paradigm, with the rhetoric of civilizational and moral healing (whatever that means, but, frankly, it never inspires confidence in me), in the end, in a public settlement of accounts, reduces all his political involvement to - that single political goal. Maybe because he was the only one there - he fulfilled his promise.
If that was really the only political goal, and we have no reason not to believe it, I guess the man knows what he's talking about, what he's talking about about Europe, new political customs and who knows what. Who was he fooling with such a story? If today he knows what he is talking about, then this charade could have ended much earlier. With fewer headaches and tears. And tear gas.
When yesterday's Prime Minister Krivokapić, the day before stepping down from power, says this about the fulfilled "one goal", he shows himself as someone who has lost his way even in his own dance with history. I mean - he had the opportunity to do something, but, now we find out, that he was what he was interested in and - he did. The rest was obviously - the reason for the story.
After all, we have the following situation: the essential problems of the old government have not been eliminated, and the problems created by the new government have already accumulated.
Let's say, when the key question of this society became - what do the bishops think about something? Or what he thinks - the Serbian patriarch. (And why not ask the association of gardeners? Or the association of basketball referees?) Does this type of clericalization bother anyone?
What remains behind this one-year experiment, what remains behind a government that, it seems, was as eagerly welcomed as it was eagerly sent away. How did they manage to cross such a path in just over a year?
Judging by his current personal evaluations of his associates, although as far as I understand, the quality control expert did not really make a name for himself in the selection. According to the current (his) evaluations of associates, it could be said that he gathered more "traitors" around him than King Nicholas, who was really particularly gifted in this.
What could be Zdravko K.'s political legacy?
Let's say - an interruption, a relatively decent interruption of a freak political practice? Someone will say - it's not even that little. That school was necessary, but maybe it could have been cheaper and more educational...
Therefore, many disappointed expectations remain. A whole ocean that you can't bridge either with economic demagoguery or with the good old production of traitors.
As much as he wanted to leave the impression of a conservative gentleman in the days of his rise, the end of his mandate showed that he was undoubtedly "our man" until the end. As soon as you choose the position that you are not guilty of anything, but the "saboteurs and traitors" are to blame, you have signed out of the - political lordship.
Nevertheless, it is clear that he did not disappoint the most important expectations - of the church leaders. There, as he said, he did everything. Professorial. And imagine if he had some really important political goal? As such, it remains an emblem of a colorful time, an emblem of confusion and confusion.
Let him, after all, say to himself: "Hand outstretched to the other shore stay away/if we fell we were prone to fall." And no whining. Poetry is always truer than any demagoguery.
Or, appropriate to the church's rhetoric, which he probably understands best: Travel, abbot...
