Probably the history of man could be written as the history of his fears. Our fears, both personal and collective, speak the most about us. Or, they talk about us in a way that usually doesn't appeal to our ego.

As a being "thrown into the world", it is probably natural that fear is one of the most common reactions to any impulse from the outside. In addition to the so-called big, metaphysical fears, there are who knows how many types of fear that don't have these dimensions, but they, too, certainly say something about us.

It seems to me that two fears mark these days of ours. We will call them, conventionally, fear of being different and fear of choice.

This second item does not represent a man frightened by the possibility of an election (although that would be a more serious story), but refers to classic, political elections - these are the Olympic games of politicians, which, in ideal circumstances, like real ones, take place every four years.

In short, the DPS is neither guilty nor obligated, it was put in a situation of a certain psychological advantage ahead of the elections, whenever they will be.

Namely, at the moment it seems that only DPS wants elections, that they can't wait for the polls to be counted. All others, for one reason or another, shy away from it - even the so-called old/new parliamentary majority seems to want to avoid elections at all costs. And that "at any cost" is hard to watch.

It's not just a matter of "feelings" - this also has a certain effect on the election result. Namely, there is a part of the electorate, probably a few percent in the end, that "decides" at the last moment, usually choosing the side on which it sees more desire and conviction to win. Such a few percent decided the elections on August 30, 2020. DPS was then, let's recall, defeated very narrowly. That is why, I believe, it is not good to show so much fear of the election. It all affects people.

While watching, for example, the behavior of the URA, you can think that the "government in technical mandate" has been overthrown - a miracle, the greatest boon in politics, party bingo, the top of the peaks, what the people of Podgorica would say. Such an attitude broadcasts the fear of defeat and leaves the impression that you yourself think that you will never be in power again. And that is not a very wisely chosen position.

DF's fear lies elsewhere... DF's constructiveness in current events acted as a refreshment for the public scene. This fear of elections is intensified in this case. Because, it could happen that, conditionally speaking, the winner of the last election will be halved in this one, although this was expected from the DPS, which, again, this will not happen. It seems that in Montenegro, victories consume people. Too much.

If that happens, it will happen not thanks to the actions of the DF - they are mostly painfully predictable, and the voters love it - but because of the re-composition of the political scene. No matter how much they call for change, they don't seem to like the change.

That team never had much of an ear for either Europe or the USA anyway, and now both of them are waiting for them at the same time - Europe now.

Incidentally, they have a great situation in front of them - they did not take part in the current spilling and scavenging, they were spared that calamity, and the citizens remember them as "saints". Getting off the scene like that could be a huge favor to these guys.

Compared to all these political games, the fear of being different seems more primal, it is certainly more psychologically grounded, but it is not less political because of that.

And that's where the problem arises: that politics is dangerous. The way the church encourages resistance and misunderstanding towards the LGBT community resembles the opening days of the Cossack pogroms against the Jews.

Hypocrisy that screams to heaven. If today's metropolitan were to be heard by former Christians, they would be sure that they were listening to a Roman procurator or centurion. That hanging belief in correctness.

What are they afraid of? Fear of people? That is not exactly expected from a church.

In fact, the church here resembles that parent who loves his child only if he behaves as the parent expects and desires. Only it's called control, not love.
