For years, it did not happen that a man was sent off in the way he was sent off Dejan Milojevic. If we take into account that he was mourned by America, Belgrade, Podgorica, wherever he played and trained, it means not only that he was a good athlete, but that he was an excellent man. Great character!
They could hardly photograph him without smiling. The toughest players and coaches who try to never show emotions so as not to be carried away by the atmosphere and try not to lose focus, when they said goodbye to Dejan Milojević, "couldn't compose themselves" because his departure hit them hard.

What happened in the halls of Belgrade and Podgorica is commendable. People gathered to pay their respects, they created a real sports and human spectacle. Everything was flawless and as a person like Dejan deserves. He played for Buducnost as if he was born in the center of Podgorica, he played until the end and the audience recognized that he gives his all in every game.
Those scenes are emotional, but they are expectedly emotional. In just a few hours, the news about the departure of Dejan Milojević was breaking news in all media, both better and worse, both stronger and weaker, both right and left, in almost all languages, but it was the same news, that an excellent player had left and a great coach.
Soon the news appeared that a hall would rightfully be named after him. They honored him with a minute of silence before the start of many games. The entire sports community showed respect. And the sports public is the same as most others, they always find something to bother them, but nobody found anything for Dejan. Not a single ugly word, on the contrary, he united the planet and all sports fans.
The fans of Partizan and Mega made a send-off that the whole America was talking about. Many did not know how important Dejan was on the other side of the ocean. They didn't know, probably because of his modesty, but still they weren't completely surprised. It is not easy to deserve so much missing, so many greetings and emotions. That smiling, hard-working and talented man seems to have made only the right steps both on and off the field.
But Podgorica and Budućnost did nothing less. All the people agitated, did something big and created a memorable atmosphere. If we take into account how much they cheered SC Morača, this kind of send-off and event in Morača is highly commendable. However, it proves that the fans remember every move and basket, gesture and commitment, that they want to remember all that and to somehow repay the man who played for Buducnost.
While he played for Buducnost, those were perhaps the club's most trophy-winning years, or the most beautiful game that Buducnost gave its spectators.
He didn't deserve to leave so early, but he deserved such a spectacular send-off. In America, the visual and print "DM" appeared, two letters and a heart surrounding those two letters, a sufficient association to know who it is. An exceptional player, an exceptional coach, an exceptional man was Dejan Milojević. Humble, persistent and forever smiling.
