The winner of the first online ethno festival of young people in the north of Montenegro, according to the jury, is Tijana Rakočević from Kolašin, while Branka Zečević from Nikšić had the most votes (likes) from the audience.
"The best impression on the expert jury was the interpretation of Tijana Rakočević from Kolašin with the song 'Tanko poju za gorom đevojke', which performed the mentioned ethnic song in a very high-quality, original and specific artistic way. The jury decided that, due to the quality of the interpretations, Tijana Rakočević and Branka Zečević will receive a cover composition as a gift in the music studio 'Drešević' in Podgorica", according to the press release.
The members of the jury were Senad Drešević, music producer and arranger, Tijana Blečić, teacher of solo singing, Branka Šćepanović, prominent interpreter of folk and original Montenegrin music, and Zoran Džiknić, independent artist and organizer of the Online Ethno Fest of the North of Montenegro.
As stated in the announcement, the videos of the competition participants had more than 70 views and a total of 5.218 likes, of which Branka Zečević received a fifth of the likes, who sang the song "Crna Goro žemo mila" and will be presented with an appropriate cash prize.
16 soloists and two singing groups entered the final of the competition - Anastasija Vojinović, Maša Cupara, Valentina Zeković, Nikolina Orbović, Ana Zeković, Teodora Korać, Sara Bulatović, Milica Dobrilović, Radovan Suknović, Nikola Krulanović, Nađa Jeknić, Nikola Kankaraš, Tijana Rakočević , Branka Zečević, Tijana Vučetić, Žana Radulović, singing group of CIRTIP singing school and female singing group "Đude" of KUD "Mijat Mašković".
"The expert jury also congratulates the original singing groups for preserving and nurturing traditional original group singing. All finalists showed exceptional talent and thereby contributed to the preservation of the original musical cultural heritage of Montenegro. They will also receive diplomas for participating in the first online ethno festival of young people in the north of Montenegro, which showed that original and ethnic music has a future among young people in Montenegro," the press release states.
The project entitled "Online activation and promotion of the musical patronage of young people in the north of Montenegro and the preservation of the musical cultural heritage of Montenegro", as part of which the Online Ethno Fest was held, and which is realized by Zoran Džiknić, is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro and the Music Center Montenegro, through the campaign "Living culture".
