On the occasion of April 23 - World Book and Copyright Day, she said that it is important to encourage everyone to read, especially young people.
"Dear writers, publishers, literary critics, creators in the field of literature, respected readers and book lovers, this is the day when we remember all the titles and content that shaped us, changed our thoughts and reflections, our lives and changed the world for the better," she said. is Vujović, it was announced from the Ministry of Culture and Media (MKM).
As she said, Montenegro is proud of all the literary works of Montenegrin writers, who left an important imprint on Montenegrin cultural identity and are an inspiration for future generations.
Vujović added that the MKM's obligation is to preserve and support literary creativity, because it represents an investment in a bright future.
"On the occasion of World Book Day, we sent books published by the MKM and the National Museum to all the editors of the culture editorial offices. On the official order of the Ministry of Culture and Media, a quiz is underway, in which the awarded participants will receive a set of the mentioned books," said Vujović.
The ICJ reminded that the decision to mark World Book and Copyright Day was made at the UNESCO General Conference held in Paris in 1995, and April 23 is a symbolic date in world literature.
They pointed out that April 23 is the death date of several prominent authors, William Shakespeare, Miguel de Cervantes and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega.
