All lovers of (loud) silence and art have the opportunity until May 14 to enjoy sounds without tones and words without letters, transferred to painting canvas.

Thus, in an interview for "Vijesti", the academic painter Jelena Vusurović invites those interested to visit her solo exhibition of paintings in Podgorica, in the gallery space of the "Cue" hotel, until May 14.

This is her 14th solo exhibition, and it is called "Sound of the silence" and includes new works...

In an interview with "Vijesti", the artist also commented on the name of the installation, which, when you look at the works, becomes quite clear and logical.

"The very name of the current installation speaks of all the unspoken silences within us, and it also served as an inspiration in the conversations that took place and the dialogues spoken without words. Art is silent, but it screams louder than any sound. The work itself says more than can be said with any words", believes the author.

She added that it is a series that is a kind of continuation of her earlier works.

'"Sound of the silence' is a continuation of my previous cycle called 'Strength in infinity' and the exhibition that took place in the Center for Cultural Events 'Ribnica', organized by the Kulturna baza Kunst and my colleague Ivan Stanić. It is very important in every work process to have people around you, where I must highlight my assistant Mateja Martinović which properly does design as well as coordination of a technical nature. The cooperation of the hotel management and Mrs Jelena Gardović which opened up some new works for viewers", Vušurović points out to "Vijesta".

In the "Sound of the Silence" exhibition, Vušurović invites visitors to a contemplative journey, exploring the depths of human emotion and existence through his evocative images, according to the organizers. Her unique perspective and masterful technique, they add, promise to captivate audiences and spark substantive conversations.

"In Jelena Vušurović's work, the motif of the bull is particularly interesting and frequent, where the artist explores the primitive essence of raw strength and resilience. Through her artwork, she challenges us to rediscover our inner strength, pride and resilience in the face of life's challenges, inviting us to emerge victorious and follow the light with unwavering energy," the exhibition organizers previously stated.

Vušurović was born in 1983 in Cetinje. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in the professor's class Vesne Boskovic, department of graphics, and graduated in painting in the professor's class Branislav Sekulić, while she finished her master's studies in Banja Luka, in the class Jelena Rubil.

So far, she has had 13 solo and more than a hundred collective exhibitions in the country and around the world.
