The premiere of the play "The Ibsen Machine", which is based on the plays "Pillars of Society", "Hedda Gabler", "Nora" and "People's Enemy". Henrik Ibsen directs Ana Vukotic, will be performed tomorrow at the Montenegrin National Theater at 20 p.m., and the rerun will be held a day later at the same time.

Director of CNP Ilija Subotic at yesterday's press conference, he expressed his satisfaction because the jubilee 70th season is coming to an end with the sixth premier.

"In addition to the fact that the project "Ibsen mašina" brought together a reference author and acting team, I believe that this play by Ana Vukotić will have a long repertoire life, as is the case with the earlier ones," said Subotić.

Vukotić says that while thinking about Ibsen's plays, she recognized the relevance and importance of putting them on stage.

"In that search for a title, I didn't find myself in just one story, and together with Željko I came up with one, it seems to me, very good solution, which is to make an adaptation of four plays," said Vukotić and said that she was proud of the whole team.

Playwright Udovicic Pleština she spoke about the connection of Ibsen's plays in this project.

"The pillars of society are based on false morality and the desire for profit, the greed for power that is present in our country, because it ensures profit at the expense of the social community. The motifs of Nora are there because they provide an excellent opportunity in such a contemporary interpretation to further discuss emancipation and women's rights, and for the same reason motifs from Hedda Gabler are also interpolated there. And the Enemy of the People is something that really concerns us. The motive of Enemy of the People is us, the silent majority who allow what we all know is happening to happen. "Ibsen was both praised and challenged for his works, but his subversiveness allows us to read it in a contemporary way," she said.
