A seven-year-old boy was brought to the Children's Hospital in Podgorica shortly after 19 pm with multiple stab wounds in the chest area.
The child underwent surgery and is currently not in danger.
As we have learned, his mother, 40-year-old MP, was arrested due to the well-founded suspicion that she tried to kill the child
She was arrested by order of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
During the reconnaissance, as the interlocutor from the investigation tells us, a knife was also found with which, it is suspected, the MP tried to kill her son.
Everything happened in a rented house in Rijeka Crnojevića, and the incident was reported by neighbors.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police found the mother and child in the house.
"Members of the police managed to enter the house where they found traces of blood," the interlocutor of "Vijesti" said.
According to unofficial information, the boy was previously physically abused by his mother.
