Leonardo Dicaprio is the main favorite for the role of Frank Sinatra in the new biopic about the famous singer, which will be directed by Martin Scorsese.
DiCaprio, who last worked with Scorsese on last year's acclaimed "Killers of the Flower Moon," will star alongside Jennifer Lawrence, who will play the role of the singer's second wife, actress Eve Gardner, reports "Variety." The two starred together in the 2021 comedy Don't Look Up.
The film is already attracting a lot of attention from major studios and streaming services, and for now Sony is considered the favorite.
Sinatra's daughter Tina controls his estate and has yet to give her blessing when it comes to Scorsese's film.
DiCaprio and Scorsese have collaborated on six feature films and one short since 2002.
