While filming an action scene for her new spy series "The Veil," American actress Elizabeth Moss broke a vertebra in her spine and was so seriously injured that she had to lie on the roof of a building in Istanbul for two hours.
The Emmy Award winner, best known for her roles in "Manhattan" and "The Handmaid's Tale," spoke about the accident to Variety ahead of the series' premiere on April 30. "The scene you see in the series is actually the second time we shot it, six weeks later. The first time we shot, I hit the wall the wrong way, let's put it that way, and I ended up lying on the roof for a couple of hours," said the actress. However, she did not give up filming, so she filmed another scene tomorrow, although her movement was limited.
