Djokovic: I am proud of my family roots from Jasenovo Polje

The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, said that he is proud of his family roots, which come from Jasenovo Polje.

After he was not allowed to participate in the Australian Open, he spent part of his vacation in Montenegro.

"I took advantage of the opportunity. I was lucky enough to spend January mostly in Australia during my career, where I had so many successful tournaments in the last fifteen years. In fact, I had the most successful ones in my career at the Australian Open. But this time, two opened- three weeks, and I had the opportunity to visit my hometown. I am extremely proud of our roots. The Djokovics come from Jasenovo polje, so I also visited the place where our family house used to be," Djokovic told RTS.
