On September 1, 2013, Belgrade will be the epicenter of a musical and stage spectacle - "The Wall" and Roger Waters are coming to Ušće!
18 cities will have the opportunity to host this extraordinary concert spectacle. Among the open-air performances or stadiums, there will be Rome (Olympic Stadium), Berlin (Olympic Stadium), Amsterdam (Arena) and Belgrade's Ušće.
Tickets will go on sale starting Monday, November 12 for fans via the official website www.rogerwaters.com.
For large outdoor spaces, Roger Waters has redesigned and raised the show "The Wall" to an even higher level, creating a superior event with a unique experience for the audience regardless of where they are watching and creating a production that surpasses everything seen before.
On the occasion of the new European tour, Roger Waters stated:
“I am very pleased that we will bring The Wall to Europe again. We will have a lot of fun. I reworked the concert so that we could take it out into the open. He's really good. It is even more moving, dramatic and exciting than arena performances. I had to redo everything because of the stadium, that is, the open spaces. A show like this could not have been created 40 years ago. At that time, we could not fill such a space by offering adequate emotional, musical and scenic satisfaction. The technology has changed, and now it is possible.”
Roger Waters, composer, songwriter and co-founder of the cult band Pink Floyd, announces the return of his legendary production "The Wall" to Europe in 2013.
This audio-visual masterpiece of alienation and transformation will be performed in its entirety with a band and unique artistic production.
"The Wall" has been played 192 times worldwide to more than 3.3 million fans, making it one of the most successful tours in rock history.
