Budva is the winner of the "Rhythm of Europe" Grand Final, which was held yesterday in North Macedonia, the Tourist Organization (TO) Budva announced.
"Rhythm of Europe is the largest regional music competition that gathers children and youth aged 14 to 21, who, in addition to their city or municipality, represent and sing in the language of one of the countries of Europe, Israel or Australia. In 2025, Budva will host the festival 'Rhythm of Europe' ', thanks to the talent and excellence of Milica Radović, Lara Pavićević, Iva Otašević and Nikola Karadžić in the singing category, and Filipi Savić and Jana Savić in the dance category. Their performance of the number 'La, la, love' achieved a 'golden' success and won the European audience," the announcement states.
TO Budva added that this festival, with a tradition of 18 years, was supported by the embassies of European countries, Israel and Australia.
"The finals in the city of Strumica gathered the first five placed candidates from Serbia, Montenegro, Republika Srpska and participants from North Macedonia, in a total number of 21 candidates, who presented their city or municipality with the same number and choreography that they had in their television festival in his country," the announcement reads.
TO Budva stated that the winner of the competition is determined exclusively by processing the votes of the jury of the participating cities and the votes of the expert jury.
"There was no SMS voting in the final competition. The competition was broadcast directly on Macedonian television with national coverage by SITEL TV, when Budva and Montenegro had the best possible international promotion of the fantastic young promoters of their city," the announcement concludes.
