The jubilee 15th edition of Bedem Fest will be held from August 22 to 24 at Bedem, and the first participants announced by the organizer are Artan Lili and Lira Vega.
"The first performer who deservedly has the honor of opening this year's music program of Bedem Fest is the great band Artan Lili, who lately at their gigs sound unrecognizably powerful, surrendering to the energy of the audience and leading them on an unforgettable journey 'across borders'. As always, we are preparing a lot of premier performances, starting with the great band Lira Vega. "With their concert, the 'Ghosts' of the past will remain behind us, looking straight into the future," said the festival organizers.
The representatives of Bedem Fest will participate in the eighth Kontakt music conference in Belgrade in the coming days.
"In one place, important actors and creators of the artistic milieu, recognized for many years of experience and achievements, will gather, presenting future visions and directions of development of the creative sector, which is very important from an economic point of view, prestige, branding and benefits for cities, people, tourists. Numerous discussions are planned with panelists from all over Europe on extremely inspiring topics, concerts, promotions", said Petar Šundić.
He reminds that Bedem Fest has been a part of the Contact Conference since the first edition and that they do everything with a vision and with "good intentions in order to take a few more steps towards greater visibility, attractiveness and competitiveness of Nikšić on the tourist, cultural route and festival map of the region and beyond, attracting as many more people to our city".
"By its tradition, Nikšić is recognized as a city of beer, rock and roll, and for the last decade or more as a city of fantastic festivals and new events, young creative people, which makes us all proud. We encourage our fellow citizens to join us together now let's start creating positive energy that will 'explode' in the summer during the Bedem Fest and other festivals.
