Famous Bosnian rapper Frenkie has announced a return to his old sound on his upcoming album, which is scheduled for release on May 3.
Frenkie released the album "Dunya" last year, where he turned to the reggae sound. The next release, according to the announcement, will bring 11 raw hip hop tracks.
"Inspiration seems to follow me these last months. The new songs were written right after 'Dunya' and I'm really proud of how the album sounds. I gathered top producers, and I'm working with some of them for the first time, which makes this album special. There is of course my brother Indigo who did the mixing and mastering, as well as the first single 'Identity' which you will hear the day before the release of the album. When it comes to topics, there is a lot of reflection, internal dilemmas and reflections, Yugonostalgia, comments on today's hip hop, social topics, and I really think that these lyrics radiate a new dose of maturity. We will see how the audience will evaluate it," said the rapper.
