Early in the morning we were greeted by the news about the challenging day ahead. Our adventure began with a visit to the magical Quingjing Taoyuan. The glass bridge that connected the two peaks of the mountains left us breathless, giving us an unforgettable view of the vast valleys below. This idyllic hilly area offers visitors a spectacular blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage, abounding in tranquil landscapes, expansive valleys and resorts. Quingjing Taoyuan also offers an insight into the traditional way of life, and is therefore a treasure trove of tradition and rich cultural heritage.
After the enchanting visit, we went to the official rehearsal for the upcoming event - the presentation of the national costumes. At that point, we all realized the importance of precision and alignment, and hard work was the key to success. We have been informed that the event will be broadcast live on national television and will be watched by millions of people across China.
National costumes represent vivid symbols of the culture and traditions of their countries. Each costume is carefully designed to bear the features and characteristics that make that country unique. Often these costumes are glamorous, adorned with rich textures, traditional embroideries and colorful fabrics that reflect diversity and authenticity. Costumes often come with props in the form of wings, special hats, hair ornaments, etc. This combination of colors, materials and symbols often causes delight, creating an unforgettable impression both on those who wear them and on the audience watching them. National costumes become not only an aesthetic element, but also a strong expression of identity and heritage.
A dress designed and hand-painted by an artist and creator Senka Tujković, represents a symbiosis of elegance and deep patriotism. Through a careful selection of cut, color and painted motifs, the dress will represent the spirit and heart of my country. I believe the symbolic beauty of this costume will delight, connecting with viewers on a level that transcends language and boundaries. Tomorrow will be the day when I will proudly show my country's culture on stage and share it with the whole world.
The event will take place on the plateau in front of the museum - Taiwan Kinship. At the very beginning, a red carpet is spread out, like a road that leads through history and tradition. A swimming pool stretches along the entire length of the plateau, creating a picturesque backdrop and providing a feeling of harmony with nature. Water reflections create an atmosphere that will further emphasize the beauty of the moment. In the central part, a stage rises above the water where every fabric, every detail of our national costumes will be under the spotlight. In front of the stage, the audience will take their seats, ready to embark on a journey through a diversity of cultures and traditions. This space will become a place where everyone gathers, connected by a common desire to share and exchange unique stories.
We practiced choreography until dinner, after which we returned to the hotel to rest before the day of the big event.
