One of the officially most beautiful Montenegrins Andrea Nikolic she has been promoting Montenegro for months as Miss Tourism through everything she does. Thanks to the promotion of not only her country, but also China, where the world competition for Miss Tourism was held at the end of last year, Andrea won the title of first runner-up.

Many beautiful memories bind this young woman from Podgorica to China, and she was recently invited to be a guest at the Chinese New Year celebration. Now she is returning to China again, where she will be a guest of the International Conference dedicated to the development of tourism from February 22 to 29.

After fond memories and spending about 15 days in China, Andrea does not hide that she is happy to return to this country.

"It's certainly much easier now, because the first trip was a big challenge for me and it's natural that there was a certain amount of trepidation. I traveled completely alone to such a distant country and I did not have much information about what challenges I would encounter on the way and during my stay in China. Now I have already 'broken the ice', so to speak, so it is much more pleasant for me to travel, especially since I have already become recognized there as a person who came from a small country and achieved an enviable result in a beauty contest. Therefore, I am very excited and happy that I will have the opportunity to visit China again, a country that I have the most beautiful experiences and exceptional success in the modeling world," Andrea told "Vijesta".

During her stay in China last time, she had the opportunity to get to know the Gwangju region, and now her journey will take her to the other side of the country.

"Now I will visit the city of Fuzhou and the Jiangxi region, where I will get to know the tourist potential and attractions of that region. What I am especially proud of is the title of 'Ambassador Tourism' that I received during my stay in China, as a girl who was recognized as having the greatest potential to contribute to the development of the international tourism industry and the strengthening of international friendship. Therefore, I will try to collect as much information as possible about the tourism industry of Jiangki Province, but also of the whole of China. However, what is a priority for me is to present Montenegro to tourism officials from China and offer our country as a desirable tourist destination," reveals Nikolić.

Considering that China is a big country, Andrea has a plan to promote Montenegro so that our country becomes an interesting destination for them.

"That is exactly my main goal. This conference, which is dedicated to the development of tourism, is a great opportunity to present our tourist offer to Chinese tour operators and to invite them to cooperate with our tour operators, in order to bring as many Chinese tourists to Montenegro as possible. I cannot help but notice that the share of Chinese tourists in the total number of tourists in Montenegro is very small, especially if we bear in mind that China is the most populous country in the world. Since tourism is the leading strategic development branch of Montenegro, we must devote much more attention to the promotion of Montenegro in China. At the same time, we should take into account the speed of China's economic development, which increases the paying power of tourists coming from this distant country", notes the miss.

Two months have passed since she became the first runner-up, and after about 10 days Andrea was at the Chinese New Year celebration in Podgorica. Apart from China, Andrea answers the question of which other countries are interesting so that we can impose ourselves on them as a tourist destination:

"Tourists from Western European countries are our traditional target group, because they have a good standard and better paying power. However, I would place more and more emphasis on other, less popular, tourist markets, where the demand for a good tourist offer has increased in the last decade. Here, above all, I am thinking of Japan, Turkey and India".

Andrea is a second-year student at the Faculty of Law in Podgorica, and before going to China for the exam, she said that education is the most important thing. She says about how her successes hindered her in that field:

"I have to admit that it is difficult to balance between college, modeling, which includes my obligations as a tourism ambassador, and the part-time job that I do at the same time. Of course, the faculty is primary, but the fact is that not everything can be achieved in an equally high-quality way. In this period, I am 'chasing' for exams in order to achieve what I missed while I was in China. I hope that everything will work out, and that one day I will be successful as a lawyer as well", concludes Andrea.
