The ingredients for this dish may seem a little unusual to you - beef, pie crust and spinach all in one place. But, neither that nor the slightly longer preparation should discourage you from trying this recipe because you will get an excellent and unusual dish. We found it on a blog my-grne. Beef and spinach can actually be combined in a variety of dishes, providing a wealth of flavors, textures and nutrients.

ingredients:

 • 7-8 thin pie crusts
 • 60 g butter
 • 2 eggs

Beef filling:

 • 30 g butter
 • 800 g of ground beef
 • 1 tablespoon flour
 • 1 tin (400 g) of peeled tomatoes
 • 2 tablespoons of tomato puree
 • 2-3 cloves of garlic
 • 1 spoon of sugar
 • salt and pepper to taste

Spinach filling:

 • 3 tablespoons olive oil
 • 400 g of thawed, drained and finely chopped spinach
 • 70 g of cheese
 • 100 g of "Zdenka" cheese
 • 180 g of feta cheese
 • 2 eggs
 • salt as needed

Preparation:

Heat the butter in a pan, add the minced meat and, stirring occasionally, fry until the meat turns "white". Add flour, stir and fry for a minute or two. Then add tomato paste, tomato puree, crushed garlic, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Cover and with occasional stirring, fry for about 20 minutes.

During this time, prepare the spinach filling. Heat the oil and add finely chopped spinach to it. Simmer over low heat until slightly browned. Salt to taste.

Remove from heat, cool a little, then add grated cheese, melted cheese and feta cheese. Add eggs, then mix everything and combine.

Lubricate a refractory dish with a little oil, take one pie crust, fold it in half, then place it on the bottom of the dish and spread a little with melted butter.

Spread the meat filling over the crust and spread it nicely.

Then spread the filling with spinach over the meat.

From the remaining pie crusts, take one at a time and twist it into an "accordion" shape. Arrange the twisted peels over the spinach layer and form a lid.

Heat the oven to 200C.

Coat the distributed crusts first with melted butter, then with beaten eggs, then put the dish to bake in a heated oven.

Bake for 25 minutes, then cover with foil and continue baking for another 25 minutes.

Serve warm, with a side dish of your choice.
